1. Our privacy commitments
- Data minimization: ask for information because it enables a defined feature, not because it might be useful someday.
- Purpose limitation: use training and account information for the product experience, support, security, and legitimate operations—not unrelated behavioral advertising.
- Clear disclosure: explain meaningful data practices in language people can understand.
- Proportionate retention: retain information only as long as there is a legitimate reason to keep it.
- User control: provide appropriate ways to access, correct, export, or delete information where the final architecture and applicable law require them.
- Vendor accountability: identify material service providers and understand what their SDKs actually collect.
2. Current development status
The product architecture and integrations may change before release. For that reason, this pre-release page does not claim a finalized list of data categories or processors that could become inaccurate before the app ships.
Forge & Frequency will not treat an aspirational architecture diagram as a privacy disclosure. The policy published for launch should describe the production application as it actually operates.
3. What the launch policy will document
Before public release, this page is intended to disclose, as applicable: information the app collects or stores; whether information remains on-device or is transmitted; account and authentication practices; subscription and payment-related processing; diagnostics or crash information; analytics, if any; third-party SDKs and processors; purposes for processing; retention; deletion; and user privacy choices.
4. User control and account deletion
If the production app supports user accounts, the release version will document the available account and deletion controls and provide any web-based completion path required by the production design. The website will not claim that an account is deleted merely because the app has been removed from a device.
